"The Rainbow Room"
The Rainbow Room" is sponsored by The Community Partners/Child Welfare Boards. They are a non-profit organization that serves as an on-site resource center for the Child Protective Services case workers to obtain emergency supplies for the children and the families they serve. Not only does the Rainbow Room provide these services, but supports the Child Protective Services Case workers and the victims of child abuse and neglect in Nueces county and the surrounding counties. Approximately 30 children are removed from their homes each month and range in age from 0 to 18.
The Texas Riviera Empire is a proud supporter of this organization by raising money and producing events such as:
Easter Basket Drive
Christmas In July - raising funds to send children back to school with supplies and proper clothing
Christmas Toy Drive - in conjunction with the Metropolitan Community Church of Corpus Christi
Baby Showers - providing supplies and other necessities for newborns

"The Loving Spoonful"
Since its inception in 1992, the Loving Spoonful, Inc. has remained a constant in the extension of services to the community of the entire Costal Bend, regardless of race, color, creed, religious beliefs, national origin, veteran status, age, disability or sexual orientation. The mission of the Loving Spoonful, Inc. is to promote self-empowerment of persons with HIV/AIDS. This is accomplished through four different modes: (1) to enhance understanding through education and support, (2) to become equal partners with health care providers and service organizations, (3) to develop and implement the necessary services and programs that will enhance the quality of their life, and (4) to enable persons living with HIV/AIDS to have control over the direction of their lives.
The Texas Riviera Empire produces annual events that support the mission and goal of the Loving Spoonful.
Christmas for the Children is an annual event in which, the Texas Riviera Empire in conjunction with other community organizations, raise money to by gifts for needy children who would not otherwise be able to have a happy Christmas.
Christmas in July is an annual event in which the Texas Riviera Empire produces various fundraisers to raise funds to by school supplies and clothing for children as they return back to school.
"Coastal Bend AIDS Foundation"
The Coastal Bend AIDS Foundation (CBAF) is a 501c3, non-profit organization, established on April 30, 1986, by the community volunteers to provide support for friends and family members infected or affected by HIV/AIDS. CBAF serves twelve counties: Aransas, Bee, Brooks, Duval, Jim Wells, Kenedy, Kleberg, Life Oak, McMullen, Nueces, Rfugio, and San Patricio.
CBAF Provides services to the community through:
Case Management of nearly 400 clients
Provides three outreach projects: Project CARE (Community Awareness Reinforcing Education, Project FREE and Project BESOS
Delivers adolescent substance abuse prevention and education through " Too Good For Drugs and Violence and Botvin's Life Skills
CBAF's vision is to enhance social services in the Coastal Bend area through outreach, education, prevention and intervention.
